Overview

Echo AI is a premium EdTech SaaS acting as an all-in-one AI study companion. It replaces the fragmented stack of tools students juggle by combining personalized GPT-4 tutoring, interactive PDF analysis and automated voice lecture notes in one workspace. It securely syncs with Canvas LMS to import courses, assignments and grades in real time, and drives study success with spaced-repetition flashcards, smart calendar planning and gap-analysis quizzes. Built with React and Supabase, it ships monetization-ready: Stripe payments and admin control dashboards.

The problem

Students were juggling a dozen separate tools to read, take notes, plan and revise, and none of them knew what was actually in their courses.

Approach

Ground the AI in the student's own material: a GPT-4 tutor that answers from the courses and documents already in the workspace.
Turn documents into study material: PDF summaries, concept graphs, voice lecture notes and auto-generated quizzes with a gap-analysis report.
Connect to where coursework already lives, with a live Canvas LMS sync for courses, assignments and grades.

Upload a PDF and Echo turns it into something you can actually study — a clean preview, an AI summary of the key points, and a concept graph that maps how ideas connect. Dense lecture slides and readings become navigable in seconds.

Study hub & planning

A single hub pulls courses, assignments and grades from Canvas in real time, then layers on smart calendar planning so students always know what to work on next — spaced-repetition reviews and deadlines organized into a realistic plan.

Quizzes & gap analysis

Auto-generated quizzes test understanding, and a gap-analysis report shows exactly where the student is weak — turning study time toward what actually needs work instead of re-reading what they already know.

Monetization & admin
